Neglecting to adequately sand the paint surface can result in unwanted dust, debris, mold and mildew remaining on the surface that then leads to decreased adhesiveness of the paint when it is applied. There are examples of where you don’t need to sand so much, such as the surface lacking any damage, the paint isn’t shiny, or when the colours are basically the same. In these instances, all you need to do prior to paining is to give the surface a wash to ensure it’s clean.
Your Auckland Painters never forget to sand properly.
